Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA)

Driving Directions

From the South:
1. Go north on I-35 E through Lewisville
2. Take the FM 407 / Justin Exit
3. Turn right on the next street off the access road – Jones Street. Be careful! Jones Street is very soon after you exit the interstate.
4. Follow Jones Street to its end (the road will curve to the right; this is Kealy Avenue)
5. The LLELA gate is immediately in front of you (East) at the intersection of Jones Street and Kealy Avenue

From the North:
1. Go south on I-35 E toward Dallas
2. Shortly after crossing the Lewisville Lake bridge, take the FM 407 / Justin Exit
3. Cloverleaf around under the bridge and turn right to go over the bridge (head East)
4. Turn left (East) at the next light, Lake Park Road (Al’s Chuckwagon is across the street)
5. Follow Lake Park Road to the first 4-way stop (at golf course)
6. Turn right (South) on to Mill Street
7. Turn left (East) at the next 4-way stop, Jones Street
8. Follow Jones Street to its end (the road will curve to the right; this is Kealy Avenue)
9. The LLELA gate is immediately in front of you (East) at the intersection of Jones Street and Kealy Avenue

Driving Directions

From the Environmental Science Building
1. Go South on I-35 E towards Lewisville
2. Take exit 463 towards TX-288 Loop
3. Keep right at the fork in the ramp
4. Make a slight left onto S I-35E/Stemmons Freeway
5. Turn left onto Lillian Miller Parkway
6. Stay straight to go onto South TX-288 Loop
7. Turn right onto Spencer Road
8. Turn left onto South Mayhill Road
9. Look for a sign for the City of Denton Water Reclamation Plant
10. Turn into city property and continue straight on drive until you reach the reclamation plant (the landfill is also here as well as piles of dynodirt)
