Stress Ecology (BIOL 4005/5040) - The course includes an examination of the role of different types of stressors, both natural and anthropogenic, in the physiology and ecology of wild organisms. Offered during alternating Spring semesters.

Molecular Toxicology (BIOL 4005/5040) - This course focuses on molecular and biochemical mechanisms of toxicity. Offered during alternating Fall semesters.

Alpine Ecology (BIOL 4650/5650) - This is an intensive six hour field course focusing on the ecology of alpine lakes in the Colorado Rockies. Offered during alternating Summer semesters.
