Our
NSF-funded research program focuses on the development
of physiological processes in animals, including
zebrafish, amphibians,
reptiles, birds and the roundworm C.
elegans.
Through the creative efforts of research associates,
post-doctoral
fellows, graduate students and undergraduates, and in
cooperation with
the other participating labs in Developmental
Physiology
and Genetics
at the University of North Texas, we are determining:

the chronology of developmental events in the physiological
regulation
of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems in
embryos, larvae and adults.
