Our NSF-funded research program focuses on the development
of physiological processes in animals, including zebrafish,
amphibians,
reptiles, birds and the roundworm C. elegans.
Through the creative efforts of research associates,
post-doctoral
fellows, graduate students and undergraduates, and in cooperation
with
the other participating labs in the Developmental
Physiology and Genetics
Research Cluster at the
University of North Texas, we are determining:
- the chronology
of developmental events in the physiological
regulation
of the cardiovascular, respiratory and renal systems in
embryos,
larvae and adults.
