- Graduate Students and Post-doctoral fellows:
- Graduate students in the Department of Biological Science at UNT are typically supported by a combination of teaching and research assistantships. Both includes full insurance coverage.
- I am not presently accepting new graduate students but may for the 2007-2008 year. If you are interested please email me a CV and letter which includes your research interests, laboratory experience, academic record and reference contact information.
- UNT Undergraduates and TAMS students:
- There are many more students requesting positions then space available. Typically I accept 2 undergraduate students and 1-2 TAMS students in the laboratory.
- To qualify for one of these positions or to participate in a special problems course you must have had Genetics (Biol 3451; preferably my course), doing exceptionally well in your Biology and Chemistry courses and are interested in a research career. If you are interested in this position you may contact me to see if a position is available. If I have a position available then you must provide me with a resume, transcript and letter explaining your academic and research interests.
