Life Sciences Complex under construction live webcam
The new $33.2 million Life Sciences Complex broke ground on Oct. 4, 2008. Construction of the new building begins next to the current Biology Building. The four-story, 87,000-square-foot building is expected to open in 2010. It will house developmental physiology and genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology and plant science. The building will have a rooftop greenhouse, and an atrium space serving as the main entrance for the complex with the state-of-the-art research labs.
